A COOPERATIVE EFFORT OF DANE COUNTY FIRE SERVICE AND LAW ENFORCEMENT TO ABATE ARSON

Purpose: To provide training and educational opportunities to fire service and law enforcement agencies in Dance County, WI and surrounding areas in Wisconsin and elsewhere. Membership to DCARI shall be bestowed upon the following individuals or organizations at the discretion of the Board of Directors Who can join: Fire Service- Active members of Fire Departments in Dane County and members of those departments engaging in mutual aid with Dane County Fire Departments, whose duties include the investigation of fires. The Chief (or acting Chief) of each department shall approve in writing those who are to be members of DCARI. Law Enforcement- Active members of Law Enforcement agencies in Dane County, whose duties include the investigation of fires. The Chief (or acting Chief) or Sheriff of each department shall approve in writing those who are to be members of DCARI. Honorary Membership- Honorary Membership in DCARI is offered to employees of the following organizations who are engaged in the investigation and/or prosecution of arson and bombings: Employees of the Wisconsin State Crime Laboratory Employees of any State of Wisconsin District Attorney's Office Employees of the United States Department of the Treasury-Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.
